Juris Solo Album, Talks about Split with MYMP
Juris Fernandez, the former other half of MYMP is now coming out with her solo album after splitting up with the band due to irreconcilable differences. And as I see it, the new singer that took Juri’s place is not that good compared to Juris, *evil smile*
Her solo album is under the Star Records. Juris thanked everyone except Chin Alacantara of MYMP and all of the 14 tracks having no single trace of affiliation to MYMP. Juris expressed her thoughts about the MYMP split and her new solo album:
They were also sad over what happened (to M.Y.M.P.) but my fans are intelligent and they know that it could happen. They understand na separate na ang career naming. I must admit na kinabahan din ako dahil ako na lang mag-isa, but so far everything is turning out okay. With Star Records I’m in good hands.
Due to the split, we are not also any longer seeing Chin on ASAP’s Sessionistas segment.
Time heals all wounds…we will see.
What do you think of Juris going solo?

it’s a good thing she left MYMP. she never makes her parents and boyfriend proud because of the things she does on her US tours. tsk tsk
Thank the Lord for humble and talented people like Chin. Don’t give up. Good things happen to good people.
I think she took a step forward when she left MYMP. Good for her!
I think this girl really has some talent. She could make it big without MYMP.

there’s no comparison between joris and juliet. the latter is far more superior in every genre, not mentioning looks, and stage presence. anybody who says otherwise is simply sour-graping — a symptom of insecurity for the 34 yr old, who has run out of gimmicks to compete with the new singer.
besides, star records is too notorious for converting former high-end talents into pedestrian spectacles. teleserye theme songs—-baduuuuy!
