Should I Put Down the Anne Curtis Wardrobe Malfunction Photo?
The Anne Curtis Wardrobe Malfunction in Boracay during the ASAP XV show is the hottest thing showbiz news today. And it is not only because of a sensual touch to the issue but more so that the issue has become a debate between factions.
I posted that Anne Curtis Wardrobe Malfunction Photo/Picture here, basically as a showbiz news site.
But as the debate is taking shape maybe between fans, Anne Curtis managers, and some feminists also joining in the fray, a commenter today wrote on that post of my blog saying,
Please give due respect for women…Stop uploading thus spreading the photo! It was an accident and she did not intend to do it,…she is not crazy to do so.
So will I put down the photo? Maybe.
These are my thoughts. What I posted here is already a censored photo, and if you notice the Anne Curtis photo has the sensitive of her part blackened. I could have chosen to post the uncensored photo that spread over Facebook but I did not. That is one sure reason of me giving due respect to Anne as a woman and as a fan but at the same time not infringing the right of my readers and the public to information; which is basically why this kind of online news site exists and so others too.
And by the way, I did not say that Anne is a dirty woman coz what happened was unintentional. No one said she did it intentionally as far as I know, nor did I. That is putting words into my mouth. As has been “reported”, it was an accident. Never did I also thought of it as part of media blitz for an upcoming movie, that could be the lamest campaign strategy to gain publicity for their movie and I am pretty sure they will not do that.
Second. I think with the wardrobe malfunction thing we should also see Sam Milby coming to Anne’s rescue just like a true Englishman, and I really commend him for that. I guess that is one facet of the issue that deserves also a great part of our attention.
Time to move forward.
I guess that is it. To take down or not to take down the photo, that is the question.
How about you guys? Let me turn over the mic to you. Do you think that I should put down the photo of Anne Curtis for the reason mentioned above by the commenter and other people? Convince me or fuel my justifications.

The picture you posted is already edited anyway so what’s the point of removing it completely?

You did all right. As you said, you’ve already blackened the the exposed boob in the picture. What more can you do? If anything you need to wink at your excitable web visitors in search of a young woman’s nubile bosom as if to say, “Better luck next time, dude.”

blurred, blackened, edited or whatever… the fact that you have posted it against anne curtis’ will is still a violation of her right as a person.. please elmot.. remove the photo or the post right away… you dont want that to happen to you, dont you? what if you accidentally slipped your towel after taking a bath and a neighbor of you is sttalking you, taking pictures of you, he accidentally caught you naked showing your penis.. he/she/they suddenly uploaded your photos on the internet without your permission… how would you feel? and oh.. i dont care if you have a big thing inside your pants or not… ha.. hey your my friend… please.. it’s against anne curtis’ will.. dont be eaten out by somebody’s accidental wardrobe malfunction just to gain popularity on the Internet.. it’s just not so you… i hope you hear me.. thanks!
