GMA7 Denied Cancellation of Claudine Barretto’s Drama Special

GMA7 Network Corporate Communications Executives issued an official statement regarding the rumor that Claudine Barretto’s weekly drama special entitled “Claudine” is soon going to air its last episode due to poor ratings.

“It is not true that GMA-7?s weekly drama program Claudine has been cancelled. It will run until August, completing its 16-week season, as originally scheduled. Thereafter, Ms. Claudine Barretto will be busy preparing for her new soap in the Kapuso Network.
