Linkin Park Releases New Album
Alternative rock act from California, Linkin Park, is set to release their new album entitled “A Thousand Suns” on September 14 through Warner Bros. Records.
Vocalist Michael Kenji Shinoda famously known as Mike Shinoda and Columbia Records producer Rick Rubin co-produced the said album. It was also them who previously worked to produce Linkin Park’s album in 2007, “Minutes to Midnight.”
The lead single of “A Thousand Suns” album, “The Catalyst” was released to digital music retailers on August 2, 2010. It was also played on the Radio as well. It’s music video had also been released late in August.
The album will also feature a remix of “The Catalyst”, made by NoBrain, the winner of the contest Linkin Park held in collaboration with MySpace.
Their second single “Waiting For the End”, was released just recently on the band’s official MySpace page.
The band would perform “The Catalyst” live at the upcoming 2010 MTV Music Awards on September 12.
