Batibot Will Soon Start to Air on TV5

Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob Squarepants may have jump off ship and are now in the Kapamilya network of ABS-CBN, a new children show very close to the Filipino heart returns to the television.

Batibot, with which many of the young professionals of today grew up with will start to air on TV5 as V5 and the Philippine Children’s Television Foundation, Inc. (PCTVF) signed a deal for its upcoming return to every Filipino household.

Batibot is to be aired on TV5 with new season keeping up with the thrust of the Kapatid network as a child-friendly station manifested by a great number of its programs catering to the children.

I for one grew up with Batibot and was even once teased by my playmates as Pong Pagong, LOL!  I don’t exactly though know yet it most original members and writers of the children show will still be there like Kuya Bodji and, Pog Pagong, Kiko Matsing, Kapitan Basa and the whole gang or will it also be reformatted to fit the present generation of young kids.

Nonetheless, this news alone of the return of Batibot is a great news.
