Richard Gomez Tax Evasion Case Gets An Ultimatum

Justice Secretary Leila De Lima summoned and told the prosecutors handling actor Richard Gomez’ tax evasion case along with Eddie Gutierrez, PT&T, Myra Santos Brodette, Mitsuko Philippines Corporation, One World Industries, Sun Motors and 5 other people who have the same violation since 2005-2006, to resolve the cases as quickly as possible.

De Lima gave the prosecutors until the end of January to put the cases to court. If failed to meet the ultimatum, the prosecutors will face consequences.

Richard Gomez, who tried to run for the congressman of 4th district of Leyte, had not presented an income tax return for 2000-2003 which violates Section 255 of National Internal Revenue Code.
