Mutya Orquia (Photo), the Newest Child Star of ABS-CBN
ABS-CBN is bringing back a teleserye this 2011 with a new child star that is hoped to follow the footsteps of the rise to stardom of Zaijan Jaranilla in “May Bukas Pa.”
Mutya Orquia, 4, is set to captivate the hearts of Filipino audience as she stars on the teleserye “Mutya.”
“Mutya” is written by the late Pablo S. Gomez. The story will revolve around a child named Mutya whose mother is human being while her father is merman. These roles are to be played by Precious Lara Quigaman and Alfred Vargas.
Other cast members are Pen Medina, Sandy Andolong, Gary Lim, Jason Gainza and Malou Crisologo.
Mutya will premiere on January 31, Monday on Primetime Bida.
