Bianca King Breaks Her Silence on the Alleged Mactan Airport Controversy

Bianca King breaks her silence and airs her side on the incident that she and 3 other Kapuso stars were involved last March 27 at the Cebu Mactan Airport.

In text message published on PEP, Bianca denies any truth to whatever Maryann Dimabayao, OIC of Public Affairs of Mactan Airport said on the same entertainment website.

“Lumalabas kasi na parang ako lang ang nagalit at nagrereklamo.”

The issue stems from the incident that involved Bianca King, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff and Michelle Madrigal. According to news reports, the four Kapuso stars were Cebu for a segment of the first anniversary of Party Pilipinas.

While waiting for their flight to Manila at the Mactan Airport, a staff invited them to stay at the VIP room of the pre-departure area.  However, they were surprised that ABS-CBN stars occupied the room.  They were nonetheless accommodated by John Pratts and Luis Manzano in particular.

But the Bianca and her friends were reportedly later asked to leave the VIP room by Maryann Dimabayao, OIC of Public Affairs of Mactan Airport.

Ms. Dimabayao later explained that the VIP room was paid by ABS-CBN for its artists.  The airport staff also said that she did not humiliate the Kapuso artists but approached them in a friendly manner.  This, Bianca vehemently denies.

“Okay lang sana if we were approached in a proper manner, pero hindi po.”

Bianca adds on her published text message,

“Kaya kami nandun kasi may ibang airport staff na nagmagandang-loob na mag-assist sa amin kasi nahiwalay kami sa GMA group na may sariling waiting area din pala.

Wala po sa amin ang may alam kung exclusive ba siya or hindi. Plus, we were there for less than five minutes pa lang.

Wala po sa amin ang nagreklamo kasi po, sa totoo lang, it only mattered for 15 minutes and we were all laughing about it after. Na-shock lang kami, pero madali na naming kinalimutan.

The reason probably why she [Maryann] keeps addressing me now is because I asked for her name, introduced myself and shook her hand, as per the request of Tita Avin [Marivin Arayata, GMA-7 executive].

I’m sure she was doing her job, but there’s always a better way to talk to guests in order to keep good ties with everyone.

Thank you Tito Gorgy.”

Hmm…the summer heat is really getting hotter.
