Rupert Grint Wanted Ronald Weasley Dead

British actor Rupert Grint wanted a more dramatic ending for his Harry Potter character Ronald Weasley in the last installment of the movie series that transformed the world into witches and wizards.

Ginger haired Grint wished Ron Weasley’s character in the movie met his demise while dueling with the Death eaters, as Grint would love to have had a death scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

In the Harry Potter saga that lasted for a decade, Grint played as Ron Weasley, one of Harry Potter’s bestfriend/side-kick, says having had a death scene on the film could have given him a chance to show off his full acting skills.

“I wish I could have died at the end of the film,” says Rupert of his farewell in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

“It would have been cool to have had a big death scene but then maybe to have come back to life!,”says the 22-year-old star.

Moreover, aside from the love he gets from Harry Potter fans all over the world,Grint recently revealed he also gets a lot of love from his fellow gingers.

“I get a lot of people from the ginger community who shake my hand,” he said.

“It’s nice. I’ve always been a quite proud ginger. I don’t know about it in America but in England, it’s not the coolest thing, really. If you have ginger hair, you get quite an unfair hassle. And it’s nice that Ron is quite a respected ginger!”
