Johansson Turns Down Marine Ball Invite
Looks like Sgt. Dustin L. Williams should say “Cry Me A River”. His supposed “date” for the Marine Corps Ball, actress Scarlett Johansson, has just decline the invite.
Unlike Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, the recently divorced Johansson has graciously
“say no” to her YouTube invite to the Nov. 10 Marine Corps Ball. In her statement to Zap2it, the 26-year-old Lost in Translation star said she has “prior commitments” for that day and thus she cant make it. She also praised Sgt. Williams for his creative streak and said that she was “incredibly honored”.
The erstwhile Mrs. Reynolds tried to console Sgt. Williams by bribing him with a case of Moet & Chandon. “In my absence, I raise a glass to you and all the men and women of the U.S. Marine Corps, past and present, in thanks for your continued commitment to preserving the safety of our nation,” said the blonde stunner.
Meanwhile, Sgt. Williams was sports enough about the rejection. “If I was told she could not attend, I would understand. I would not believe the invitation would be denied without good cause.
