Ashton Kutcher Feels Good About Sitcom’s Return
Ashton Kutcher told ‘Late Show’ host David Letterman that he feels good about the return of ‘Two and a Half Men’ – without Charlie Sheen.
Kutcher replaces Sheen who was fired from the show after engaging in a much-publicized bickering with producer Chuck Lorre. But, instead of reprising Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper, Kutcher is coming in as love-sick internet billionaire Walden Schmidt.
Ashton shares, “You get out [on stage] and the audience goes crazy. I think it’s gonna go through the roof. I really do. I’ve been laughing really hard.”
Demi Moore’s much younger hubby will be earning $700,000 per episode according to a ‘TV Guide’ report – a lot less than the reported $1 Million plus-plus Charlie Sheen was taking home.
[Well, Sheen did come and left with a million plus-plus problems. Their legal tussle is still ongoing.]
Kutcher’s first episode of ‘Two and a Half Men’ will air on September 19 on CBS.
