Hugh Hefner: ‘I’m Out When I’m Dead’
Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is not slowing down and he does not intend to slow down, even at 85 years of age.
“I am the father of the sexual revolution. I’m very proud of it,” Hefner told ‘Access Hollywood’ in a new interview, adding that sex is still a big part of his life.
“I wouldn’t say that it was the same that it was when I was 50, but you know, I’m a romantic and I think sex is part of — sexual intimacy is part of it. I just let the girls do a little more of the work!”, Hef explained.
Hef has of course moved on with new girlfriends Anna Berglund and Shera Bechard after former fiancée Crystal Harris called off the wedding just days after they were supposed to tie the know.
However, he said he has no plans for another planned trip down the aisle. “Yes,” Hef answered, when asked if marriage is off the table for now. “What I’m looking for the rest of my life is a romantic relationship, one that really matters. So I would not count marriage out — it’s just not a high priority.”
As for how long he intends to remain at the helm of his Playboy empire, Hef said only death could force his retirement.
“I’m out when I’m dead. I think that doing what you love, work and play is what keeps you alive.”, Hef closes.Get free updates directly to your e-mail from Showbiz Renegade. Just enter your e-mail below and confirm your subscription by clicking the link that will be sent to your e-mail.
