Arnold Schwarzenegger Inaugurates Museum
Scandals, lovechild, divorce and falling from grace aside, former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger continues to be his native Austria’s pride and joy — so proud are his fellow Austrians that they have built a museum in honor of his life and achievements in Hollywood and in U.S. politics.
Schwarzenegger, a multi-awarded bodybuilder, movie star, and former governor, inaugurated on Friday a museum dedicated to him and unveiled a bronze statue of himself flexing.
The museum is aptly located in the two-storey Thal village house where Schwarzenegger was born.
Aside from the bronze statue, the museum also features several life-size Terminator models and memorabilia from Arnold’s life. It also includes photos of Arnold, his estranged wife Maria Shriver and their four children throughout the years.
Schwarzenegger told his fans present at the inauguration, “For me, this is not only a museum. It is also a symbol of will… everyone has a chance.”Get free updates directly to your e-mail from Showbiz Renegade.
