Adam Lambert To Be The Next Freddie Mercury?

American Idol winner Adam Lambert has been spreading the news that he will be the new lead vocalist of the band Queen this summer. Although there’s no confirmation yet of the said claim, but one thing’s for sure, he will be joining the band on a tour.

According to reports, Lambert impressed the band when they joined forces in performing classic tracks including “The Show Must Go On” and “We Are The Champions” in last year’s MTV European Music Awards. he intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some f–king great songs. It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would have proud of.”Lambert said. He also added that after his performance at the MTV Europe Awards, he heard rumors from the fans of the band saying he can’t replace Freddie Mercury ever. Lambert is releasing he’s second album this march entitled Trespassing. His first single Better I Know Myself went down to the bottom last December.

Late last year, the band’s guitarist Brian May stated that he and band mate, drummer Roger Taylor, can “never be Queen” again without Mercury and bassist John Deacon. Reports also says that Lady Gaga and the band are having conversation about the latter being the band’s front woman in the future, but it’s still not confirm either.
