Whitney Houston’s Daughter To Enter Rehab

If it were entirely up to Whitney Houston’s family, the late singer’s daughter with Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina, is likely to enter a rehab facility soon to combat her substance abuse.

Bobbi Kristina, 18, had a “complete breakdown”, and was briefly hospitalized twice, after her mother was found dead in her hotel room on Saturday.

According to sources close to the Houston family, Bobbi Kristina has struggled with substance abuse for the last three or four years and should seek out professional help, preferably at a 60-day live-in treatment facility, before her addiction gets out of hand.

The family’s decision to send Bobbi Kristina to a rehab facility has been coming for a while, but they held off on telling her until after Whitney’s funeral was taken care of.

The Grammy award-winning singer’s relatives said they don’t want the same fate of Whitney’s untimely death to befall on her daughter.

However, Houston’s family is trying not to put pressure on Bobbi Kristina to enter rehab right away to give her time to grieve her mother’s passing.

Singer Janet Jackson, who has also experienced the loss of a dear family member in Michael Jackson’s death in 2009 has offered kind words to Whitney Houston’s daughter on how to deal with the grief over the death of a loved one.

“You have to come to terms at some point. You have to actually give it up to God,” People magazine quoted Jackson as telling Anderson Cooper for an interview airing Monday on his talk show.
