Ashton Kutcher gets a plus for Jobs but a minus from the ACM.
Looks like Ashton Kutcher is back in the front page.
After a brief media hiatus -following a highly publicized extra-marital affair, divorce, and Two and a half-men stint- funny dude Ashton Kutcher is making headlines with his Steve Jobs biopic and his antics during the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.
First off, CNN has recently confirmed that the 34-year-old comedian is set to play tech prodigy, the late Steve Jobs. According to reports, the movie will revolve around former Apple founder and CEO’s younger years or his hippie days. The film, under the direction of Joshua Michael Stern, will begin production this summer when the That 70s show star is on break from his CBS sitcom.
Meanwhile, Ashton Kutcher is getting the raised eyebrows from the people who brought back cowboy boots and great music. Country Music Artist and Female Vocalist of the Year awardee Miranda Lambert recently tweeted about Kutcher’s obnoxious behavior during the Academy of Country Music Award last Sunday. According to her tweet last Monday “”Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I’m kinda wondering?” obviously referring to Kutcher’s poorly rendition of George Strait’s “I cross my heart” and his outlandish country style garb. According to sources, the whole country music community took it as a form of mockery.Get free updates directly to your e-mail from Showbiz Renegade.
