Windows Phone: The New Windows Phone 8 Device Preorders Start Next Week

The Windows Phone 8 devices will be soon launched in the market and the first batch of Windows Phone 8 will be available in the U.S. market starting October 21, 2012, according to reports.

Accordingly, The Verge says that the mobile service provider AT&T will be accepting pre-orders for the Windows Phone 8 smartphones starting next week, which also includes the HTC 8X and Nokia’s pride Lumina 920. Meanwhile, Samsung Ativ Smart PC and Asus Vivo Tab RT tablets will also be for orders too.

As far as Microsoft’s HTC smartphones is concerned, the AT&T plans also to launch the HTC One X+, One VX, and Windows Phone 8X. While the Windows Phone 8X will soon be available, the carrier has said that the One X+ and One VX would also be available later on this October.

Apparently, the Microsoft predicted that the official launch of Windows Phone 8 will be set on October 29 in San Francisco.

Still a lot of surprise is expected on the launching date of Windows Phone 8. While it’s not specifically Windows Phone 8-related, Ballmer and pals still have not given Microsoft’s Surface tablet a price tag on its launching date.

Reports have also said that Microsoft will have released the touchscreen-optimized Window 8 Phone into the wild and even will get a glimpse of Apple’s newly anticipated iPad Mini.
