Kansas Election Results 2012: Rep. Jan Pauls Wins Re-election against Dakota Bass

 

Democratic re-electionist Representative Jan Pauls won the election against Republican contender Dakota Bass with a commanding lead in the state of Kansas.

The results for Kansas show that Rep. Pauls got 66 percent of the total votes while Republican challenger Bass got only 34 percent of the votes.

The result of the state election was posted by the Kansas secretary of state in its website.

Rep. Paul is known to be a leading anti-gay Democrat who also legally lives in a church.  He is also instrumental in the defeat of measures that would repeal anti-sodomy laws in Kansas.

She is also a former judge and an anti-abortion activist.
