Shia LaBeouf Quits Transformers Franchise

The third installment of the Transformer movie will be lead star Shia LaBeouf’s last. Shia made the announcement himself and confirmed rumors that he would not be acting in the action series again after the release of the flick’s third installment.

LaBeouf was quoted as saying, “For sure (this will be my last). I’m not coming back to do another one. I don’t think (director) Mike (Bay) will either.”

He also said that despite his decision, he is convinced that studio bosses will bring back the franchise for a part four (even more), probably with another star in the lead role.

According to the actor, “It is still a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So, I imagine they’ll reboot it at some point with someone else.”

It will be recalled that the movie had also lost Megan Fox as the lead female star, but production of the flick’s part three went on even without her.

LaBeouf was a former child star who went to leading man status in Hollywood when he snagged the lead role in the blockbuster film in 2007.
