Heidi Klum: Most Dangerous Celeb in Cyberspace

This is one ‘award’ Heidi Klum will surely not appreciate or feel proud of, being named the most dangerous celeb in cyberspace.

The only good thing about it though is that it is a testament to how popular the ‘Project Runway’ host and judge is, because the infamy associated with being the most dangerous celeb has everything to do with how much that celebrity is searched for and downloaded.

Unfortunately, according to internet security firm McAfee searching for the name and downloading screensavers or wall papers of Heidi Klum yields a 1 of 10 chance of inviting malware, spyware, spam, philshing and other viruses to flourish on computers.

CNN talk show host Piers Morgan, also a judge on America’s Got Talent and a former British tabloid newspaper editor, was named the most dangerous male celebrity in the survey, a list produced annually by McAfee.

McAfee said cyber criminals often used the name of popular celebrities to lure people to websites that are laden with malicious software.

The five most dangerous celebrities in cyberspace, according to McAfee are:
1. Heidi Klum
2. Cameron Diaz
3. Piers Morgan
4. Jessica Biel
5. Katherine Heigl
