50 Cent joins the long list of Super Bowl Ads

Indiana, Indianapolis – Promotion, promotion, promotion, Companies in the United States are now competing each other to have a portion in the half time of the highly anticipated Super Bowl XLVI. They are all in line to have an airtime for their ads at the Super Bowl XLVI’s half time show. Joining the short list of this advertisement is from Suzuki Motor Corporation. They confirmed through Siltanen & Partners, the advertising agency for Suzuki Motor Corp.’s U.S. unit American Suzuki, has worked out a deal with the rapper 50 Cent to use his song, ”Movin’ on up,” in the coming Super Bowl spot called “Sled.”

It’s been said a penny saved is a penny earned, but Suzuki is hoping rapper 50 Cent will pay big dividends with its Super Bowl commercial this weekend.

The American Suzuki Motor Corporation has revealed that it will be running a television spot called ‘Sled,’ which highlights their new 2012 Suzuki Kizashi sport sedan. The commercial features the G-Unit head honcho’s song, ‘Movin on Up,’ and an Inuit Eskimo driver, who has traded in his sled for an all-wheel-drive Kizashi.

“We reached out to 50 Cent because we thought he’d appreciate the creativity of this spot and the central role his music could play in it,” said Rob Siltanen, CEO and chief creative officer at the agency. “We greatly appreciate 50?s personal involvement in seeing this deal through.”

As reported last week, the car maker released a preview of a 60-second commercial developed to run during Super Bowl XLVI this Sunday. In the ad an Inuit Eskimo trades in his dog sled for an all-wheel-drive Kizashi sedan. The first-run version included a song called “Party Still Jumpin” by Benjamin Kahle Music. The new version swaps it for 50 Cent’s tune.

The G-Unit rapper allegedly made a small fortune by betting $500,000 on the New York Giants in the NFC Championship, but this weekend he’ll be putting his manhood on the line in support of his home team.

The 36-year-old mogul, 50 Cent, who spent the latter half of 2011 battling world hunger with his SK campaign, has met a Twitter follower’s challenge, agreeing to pose naked and post the picture on Twitter if the New York Giants lose to the New England Patriots during Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday.

Don’t miss the live show down between the New York Giants and New England Patriots this Sunday on the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indiana. It will be shown live by NBC.
