Tom Brady Disappointed after another Super Bowl Loss to the Giants

Popular quarterback Tom Brady is still disappointed after the Patriots loss to the Giants in the recently concluded Super Bowl 2012 at the Lucas Oil Stadium. He was in full uniform. Tom Brady was in full thought. There were the plays that hadn’t been made. There were the opportunities not seized. There was the Super Bowl that had slipped away, 21-17 to the New York Giants. Again, the Giants. Again.

According to the reports, Tom Brady aggravated an existing shoulder pain in the third quarter of Sunday’s Super Bowl 2012 loss to the New York Giants, but still the Patriots quarterback did not suffer a major injury.

The Pats QB wasn’t making it obvious he was hurting, but as Hoyer said, “I don’t know if I’ll ever meet someone as tough as he is.” Brady is certainly tough and he has to be, as it is going to be a physically and mentally grueling offseason as he rehabilitates this shoulder sprain and thinks about what went wrong in the big game.

Apparently, Robert Kraft, the team owner who Brady also wanted this fourth Super Bowl for so desperately, came by, saw the carnage and went to Brady. Kraft bent over, put a hand on his shoulder pads and pulled the quarterback in. He spoke softly in his ear. He then hugged Brady’s head and finally let go.

Tom Brady’s mistakes in the most recent Super Bowl make him ripe for criticism. That’s a fact. But because of such modern day pulpits as talk radio and the Internet, the criticism is instant and sometimes brutally harsh. Williams and Yaz, on their worst days, never had to go through any of that.
