Catherine Zeta Jones' Bipolar II Disorder Has Been Treated

Catherine Zeta Jones was recently reported to have spent five days in an unknown mental health facility for the diagnosis and treatment of his Bipolar II disorder. This was confirmed by her rep saying:

“After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her Bipolar II Disorder. “he’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week this week on her two upcoming films.”

Catherine Zeta Jones differentiated the Bipolar II disorder from the usual Bipolar I disorder saying that the former is a “Diet Coke” of the latter. She mentioned that those people with Bipolar II experience the same symptoms as persons with Bipolar I saying:

“When I get manic, I don’t hallucinate. I may not even seem manic to a person who doesn’t know me well. I might talk a little faster, have more energy, and, in general, feel much more confident than I would if I were not manic. In fact, my form of “grandiosity” is simply not needing to solicit so many affirmations to feel okay about myself.”

TMZ was told that Catherine had been in Silver Hill Hospital in Connecticut in particular for treatment, but she has checked out.
