2PM Unveils Teaser Photos

All your hands up for the newest hot teaser photos of Korean boy band 2PM’s “Hands Up” album. The promotional teaser shots, which shows the boys in a very pop stylish glam look, signals a promising comeback for the hip-hop boy band.

2PM is a South Korean boy band managed by the obiquitous JYP Entertainment. The group consist of six members (originally seven), Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, and Chansung — all in their early 20s.

The group is a sub-branch of the band One Day (the other branch is 2AM) and label mate to the equally popular girl group Wonder Girls. Unlike most Korean pop group, the group exudes a more mature style and image.  2PM’s first single “10 Jeom Manjeome 10 Jeom” was release on September 4, 2008.

On February 2010, fans were jolted when JYP Entertainment announced the release of member Jaebeom, who stand as the older brother and leader of the group, for posting negative comments about Korea in his MySpace account back in 2009.

The group carried on with their act and has been still well received in Korea and other Asian countries, especially in China, Taiwan, and Japan.  In 2010, 2PM sang the song “What’s Your Celebration” for the FIFA 2010 World Cup.
