Bong Revilla, The Next President After P-Noy

bong revillaThough the next elections is still six years from now as President Noynoy Aquino is just starting his term, the question of who will assume the position after him is already making rounds not only inside the political circles but also in showbiz.

One of the names that were floated is that of action star and presently Senator Bong Revilla.

Fellow actor and close friend Philip Salvador who is actually the father of Presidential sister Kris Aquino’s first son Josh, said that he wants that the next president be from the showbiz world and there is no better person to be on such a position than Sen. Bong Revilla.  Salvador disclosed this during his induction as the reelected president of Katipunan ng mga Artistang Pilipino sa Pelikula at Telebisyon, Inc. (KAPPT).

“Magkakaroon ng susunod na presidente ng Pilipinas mula sa hanay ng mga artista.”

After saying this, he looked at Bong Revilla in the crowd and made a gesture.   Other showbiz personalities present also affirmed what Philip said.

Sen. Bong Revilla actually wanted to run for the vice-presidency last May 2010 elections but his father, former senator and actor Ramon Revilla Sr. asked him to put his ambition first on the sideline with which he took heed.

So will Bong Revilla already also eyeing the presidency next national elections?  Do you think he is fit to be the next president after P-Noy?
