Hitler Comment Costs Fox Her Transformer Role

Now that the movie is set to roll for theaters, people are speaking up about the sudden “transformation” of Sam Witwicky’s love interest in the film Transformers: Dark of the Moon..

According to Transformers Director Michael Bay, it was executive producer Steven Spielberg decided to say good bye to Mikaela Banes, a.k.a. Actress Megan Fox.

Apparently, Fox’s notorious comment on magazine Wonderland about Bay being like Hitler has offended the award winning Spielberg who happens to be a jew.

In an exclusive interview with GQ, Bay explains that he wasn’t hurt by the 25 year old actress’ scathing remark. “Because I know that’s just Megan. Megan loves to get a response. And she does it in kind of the wrong way. I’m sorry, Megan. I’m sorry I made you work twelve hours. I’m sorry that I’m making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy,” said the 46 year old Bay.

Spielberg, on the other hand, was allegedly offended. “You know the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said fire her right now,” adds the director.

Meanwhile, the actress herself has previously defended herself claiming that it was her decision to leave as she wanted a new challenge in her career to which Co-star Shia Lebeouf later confirmed stating that Fox felt uncomfortable with her role, as a sex symbol, in the movie.
