Cheryl Cole Gets ‘Absurd’ Court Injunction

It seems Cheryl Cole intends to be a ‘recluse’ for quite some time. The sacked ‘X Factor’ judge got another judge, Justice Eady, to issue a new high court injunction threatening anyone (and it really means ‘anyone’) with imprisonment for…wait for it – taking a photograph of Cheryl Cole.

And, the said injunction bars anyone and everyone – paparazzi, neighbors, fans and even relatives, employees of such paparazzi, neighbors and fans from snapping up a picture of Cole. Essentially, it is ‘take a picture and go to jail’.

According to the Daily Star, the order granted by Justice Eady is so wide-ranging that a fan who has snapped her in the street and does so again runs the risk of prison.

The bewildering order was pinned to lampposts outside Cole’s former home in Enfield, north London.

The order states that it has been issued against “XYZ and others”, providing an explanation that the phrase means anyone who has photographed Cole at her home and in the street during 2011.
Then, in stern block capital letters, a warning follows: “Any person who knows of this order and disobeys this order…may be held to be in contempt of court and may be imprisoned, fined or have their assets seized.”
