Christopher Meloni Joins The Man of Steel Cast

Things are really heating up for the filming of Man of Steel, the Superman franchise reboot. Reports has it that latest to join the power house all star cast is Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Christopher Meloni.

Henry Cavill is set to play the man of steel himself. Cavill, who plays Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk, on the Showtime series The Tudors was casted as Superman when the executives of the Superman Return
announced that the hunky Brandon Routh will no longer reprise his role as the Adonis Looking super hero.

Alongside Cavill, Amy Adams and Russel Crowe has signed up for the movie as well. The 47 year-old Gladiator star will stand in as Jor-El and Adams will play the pretty Lois Lane.

While the casting for the characters are already revealed to the public, no name for the villainous Lex Luther has surfaced yet. Now people are wondering if Meloni is casted to play the balding archenemy.

Nope– that is according to Meloni himself. The 50 year old actor told the Vulture Report that he’ll be playing a general. Meloni did not give further detail on his role because everything about the movie is still under wraps and is supposedly confidential.
