Dr. Conrad Murray Won’t Accept a Plea Deal

According to reports, Dr. Conrad Murray said he is not willing to accept any sort of plea bargain, even one which has no jail term.

Not that any plea bargain is being offered by the prosecution panel, but the former physician of Michael Jackson who is also being blamed for the King of Pop’s death, is so sure of his innocence he already made the announcement that he is unwilling to accept any sort of plea bargain agreement.

Sources close to the embattled doctor said that Dr. Murray feels so strongly about his innocence that even a plea with no jail time would be out of the question.

However, sources for the LA county district attorney also revealed that the DA will not offer one.

Dr Murray’s defense revolves on his insistence that he did not administer the fatal dose of Propofol to Jackson.

His lawyers advances the theory that Murray had left to go to the bathroom when a frustrated Michael (who was already having problems sleeping) woke up, then administered Propofol to himself in a desperate attempt to get some sleep.

Dr. Murray’s lawyers also called into evidence the rehearsal footage of Michael’s supposed last concert tour to prove that the King of Pop was already in poor health prior to his death.

Dr. Murray is being charged with involuntary manslaughter.
