Heidi Klum to Launch ‘Wildlife’ Jewelry Line

Everything seems to be green and go for Heidi Klum. Not only is her show, Project Runway, doing extremely well with season 9 about to start in a couple of days, but her family is doing just as great with an extreme family bonding vacation in the works.

And, as if she is not blessed enough with all the good things happening in her personal and work life, she is set to start a new business venture – a costume jewelry collection on home-shopping channel QVC.

The collection, called Wildlife by Heidi Klum, will debut on the home-shopping network on September 8.

According to Heidi the line will consist of “statement pieces” and range in price from $30 to $200. She said, “The only reason to wear costume jewelry is to wear something large —something you can’t do with real jewelry because it would be too expensive.”

This is actually the second business partnership between Klum and QVC, with the first one being a line of fine jewelry that was launched back in 2006 but folded in just three years after jeweler Van Cleef & Arpels filed a suit that alleged copyright infringement.
