Jennifer Aniston cements her place in Hollywood. Thursday afternoon, the award winning actress joins Marilyn Monroe, Bing Crosby and John Travolta in having her hands and feet immortalized in cement at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

In a short speech before dipping her hands in cement, Aniston jokes “Man, I have to tell you, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I’d be sticking my body in cement, for a good reason.”

In an interview after the ceremony, she shares, “I never in a million years though that this would be in my cards as an actor… This is pretty insane and I’m going to take a long time to digest it and continue to be very grateful for it.”

Aniston is best known for her role as Rachel in the long running comedy series, Friends. After the series ended in 2004, she has starred in numerous movie hits such as The Breakup and Just Go With It.

She has another movie which opens later this month. Jason Bateman, one of her co-stars in her latest movie Horrible Bosses had this to say : “I dont feel nearly as lucky as the sidewalk because the sidewalk, for years after we’re all gone is to now include in its rigid cement a woman whose spirit is every bit of solid, whose integrity is every bit as unbreakable, whose body is every bit as hard.”

Aniston was joined by her gal pal Chelsea Handler during the ceremony.
