Thirty Seconds to Mars to Land in Philippines Shores

Looks like Filipinos just cannot have too much of international artists. Weeks after Kylie Minogue and days after David Archuleta awed the audience in this tropical country, rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars is holding its first ever concert in Manila, Philippines.

The LA-based band, will be performing at Trinoma Mindanao Open Parking on July 29, Friday. Prior to this, fans are in for a treat with the pre-concert party at The Wild, Republiq Bar on Wednesday night, July 20.

The pre-concert party is exclusive and free to the Gold ticket holders who also have the chance to win meet and greet passes, Thirty Seconds to Mars’ original triad necklaces, signed posters and other limited edition items.

The band’s tour is to promote their latest album This is War. According to the band’s official site, the album title is representative of the creative battle they have endured for a year and a half. The title “is more than a just a reference to the band’s personal battles, a commentary on global crises and economic turmoil and homage to their now infamous $30,000,000 lawsuit with Virgin Records.”

The ” world-class arena-crushing rock band” is composed of the trio Jared Lero, lead singer and guitarist; Shannon Leto, drummer; and Tomo Milicevic, guitarist.
