Lindsay Lohan Says She Can’t Afford Counseling

Lindsay Lohan was back in court today for a stand progress hearing. One of the matters tackled was the psychological treatment she needed to complete to comply with the conditions of her probation.

Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told the judge that the 25-year old actress has not been able to maintain UCLA psychological treatment due to “financial issues.”

While group counseling is always an option because it is either free or at least more affordable, Lohan argued that she cannot attend group counseling sessions because the paparazzi hounding her would disrupt the sessions.

Judge Stephanie Sautner seemed unperturbed and was unsympathetic, saying “she’s got to find someone to help her out.”

She gave Lohan 21 days to show proof that she has indeed enrolled in counseling.

Lohan was also reminded by the court that she must complete all her community service by year’s end. She will be on probation for the next three years and will be back in court in October.
