Manny Pacquaio Now a Habitat for Humanity Ambassador

After having to deal with the bad news that his membership applications to two exclusive Manila clubs were disapproved, Manny Pacquiao quickly bounces back with an even better ‘membership’ to an organization with a very worthy cause – something that would mean so much more in what he considers to be the greatest fight of his life… the fight against poverty.

Pacquiao recently became a Habitat for Humanity Ambassador and set things off to a good start by donating three hectares of land in his province of Saranggani to the organization whose main objective is to provide decent homes for the needy. The good congressman said he bought the parcel of land with his very own money – a product borne out of his years of hard work, meticulous training and all the boxing matches that placed his life on the line.

Hats off to you Congressman Pacquaio! Being a Habitat for Humanity Ambassador is worth far more in the lives of the Filipino people than a membership to any exclusive golf club which is nothing more than a lifestyle perk.

Contratulations for sharing your 3 hectares of land in your district for the Habitat for Humanity. It is a huge area but you did not hesitate to give it to the less fortunate. That is why GOD had multiplied your blessings. I hope the wealthy who owns thousands of hectares of lands. will also donate part of their lands to the Habitat for Humanity. Eventhough I have no house and lot, and i know i cannot avail for that, still i am very happy for the beneficiaries, at least there are many poor families who will be benefited, i am very happy for them. MAY GOD ALWAYS BLESS , GUIDE AND GIVE YOU MORE WISDOM. MY PRAYERS FOR GOOD HEALTH FOR YOU JINKY AND THE KIDS AND MOMMY D.
