Amy Winehouse Recorded Three Songs for James Bond

Before her untimely demise, Amy Winehouse was said to be working on songs supposedly for the new James bond movie.

According to reports, Winehouse had secretly penned and recorded three tracks she was hoping would make it on to the soundtrack for the new 007 film.

A friend said, “What a way to remember Amy. We want her to be known for her talent and not her addiction. To have one of her songs used in the next film would be the perfect memorial to her.”

It is said that Winehouse had recorded a song called ‘Mission Of Solace’ in 2008 with producer pal Ronson. The duo were hoping it would be picked as the title track for the Daniel Craig ‘Bond’ starrer, Quantum of Solace, but the song did not make the cut because of Winehouse’s drug and alcohol binges.

Over the past 12 months prior to her death, Amy wrote three other songs and recorded them in Ronson’s studio in Henley-on-Thames, Oxon.

Chris Goodman, Winehouse’s spokesman, said there is “plenty” of material but so far, there have been no discussions yet about releasing anything posthumuosly.
