Shah Rukh Khan Postpones His Knee Surgery

Bollywood hunk of an actor Shah Rukh Khan has decided to postpone his knee operation for another week as he wants to finish pending work for his upcoming superhero film.

A source close to the actor said, “He’s aware that the surgery would limit his physical activity. He has requested his physician Dr Ali Irani to postpone the surgery by a week as he wants to complete some shots for his film.”

Shah Rukh was supposed to undergo the operation to his knee in Mumbai on July 25 with a team of doctors led by former Team India resident doctor, Ali Irani.

The actor had previously planned to go to the US for the surgery but opted instead to have it done at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. It is said that the main reason for the change of plans is because his kids are studying in Mumbai and it would have been difficult for his wife to attend to him in the US while the kids stay in Mumbai.

Shah Rukh will also have a physiotherapy team consisting of three specialists, led by Andrew Leipus as chief physiotherapist, to attend to him post-surgery.
