Jon Cryer Finds Charlie Harper’s ‘Death’ Funny

Charlie Sheen or his character, Charlie Harper, on ‘Two and a Half Men’ must have scarred Jon Cryer so badly that he finds his death ‘funny’.

We all know that the producers, Chuck Lorre in particular, had a very public and equally nasty falling out with Sheen that you can expect the worst death scene from them to end Sheen’s character on the show, but for a co-star to find it ‘funny’ is somewhat surprising.

Cryer told Los Angeles TV station KTLA, “There is no meat explosion, just so you know; it’s not some entre that ends disastrously. I’m not allowed to say much about it. … I will tell you, it’s funny.”

Jon also his expressed excitement over the start of the show’s new season, given the fact that it went through so much drama with Sheen. He said, “It was an awful thing to be a part of and I’m glad that some measure of peace has come out of all of it. But I never want to go through it again.”

As for Ashton Kutcher’s inclusion in the show, Cryer said, “They’ve managed to bring in Ashton in a really terrific way. I mean, Ashton just did the show on Friday and just tore the roof off the joint. He was amazing.”
