Lindsay Lohan Suing over Disparaging Lyrics

It is now Lindsay Lohan’s turn to seek the court’s protection of her rights and her ‘good name’. The embattled actress, who adds financial problems to her list of personal debacles, is suing rapper Pitbull over supposedly disparaging and defamatory lyrics one of his songs contained.

The ‘Give me Everything’ track, said to be also written by Ne-Yo and Afrojack, supposedly features the line: “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’ I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

In Lindsay’s lawsuit, the 25-year-old actress recently released from a 35-day house arrest for taking a necklace from a boutique and for violating terms of her probation, claims “the lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff.”

Lindsay’s court filing also said that she is “a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild.”

As if trying to prove that she is now indeed on the right track and does not deserve anymore any defamatory statements, Lindsay settled an unpaid bill for stereo equipment after it was reported that Stephen Clark had sued her for $1,180 for allegedly failing to pay for a sound system and its installation in her California home.

Following the payment, Clark said, “She paid and I cancelled the small claims file.”
