According to a source close to Salman, the actor left for the United States last night for the surgery. He was reportedly accompanied by some of his family members.

The 45-year-old actor started experiencing pain in his jaw in 2007 while shooting for the movie, ‘Partner’. The pain got worse and worse, which is why he has decided to undergo surgery.

Salman is hoping that his new movie with Kareen Kapoor, released on August 31. will be another ‘Eid blockbuster’, just like ‘Wanted’ in 2009 and ‘Dabang’ in 2010 which were all Eid hits that revived his sagging career.
