Have you ever wondered why every celebrity in the planet are very stylish?Like in an ordinary setting, there would be at least a couple who are fashionable, a number that dresses o.k and a few that seem to be just out of place. However, in the entertainment business everybody looks like they have gotten themselves out of pages of a trendy magazine-with just the right clothes, color, shoes and accessories.

Thanks to their stylists, who see to it that they are garbed well and everything in their ensemble meshes with the other pieces.

And among the top stylists out there in planet Bollywood, Rocky S is sure had his share of fashion trend and biggest challenge to clothe a Katrina Kaif that would fit her character in the movie.

Rock S admitted, his biggest challenge was to dress Katrina Kaif for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

“I had to make her look different,” Rock S says.

“I’ve been styling Katrina since she made her debut in Bollywood, and I’ve always had to ensure that there’s something unique about it. Here, the director’s (Ali Abbas Zafar) brief was very simple -feminity as well as strength.”

The beautiful Katrina plays as Dimple Dixit, a simple girl reared in London and returns to Delhi to get married.

“She’s playing a vulnerable yet strong girl, who has flamboyant and ‘bindaas’ shades,” says Rocky. “It started off as a simple Delhiite look, but it progressed to a next-door-neighbourmeets-rock chic look.”

The fans surely love what Rocky S has done, the audience went gaga with Katrina’s fashion sense in the movie.

“I didn’t expect it to become such a huge rage. Everyone’s talking about how fresh and young Katrina’s looking. Some elements like her ripped pink jeans have become a rage. At that time, I had to think ahead while shopping for her, so it’s nice that if you visit a high-street store right now, you’d find bright green and red jeans.”

Rocky also expressed, while dressing Katrina into character, the stylist also took consideration with the cultural side of things and adopt a more conservative approach. “We were shooting in Delhi and Agra, so the clothes had to have a north Indian sensibility -simple yet desirable,” he explains.

Rocky bought most things from Delhi, some clothes from London. The Indian clothes, though, are all created by him.

The designer is also busy with a number of fashions shows and films. “My next release will be Hema Malini and Esha Deol’s Tell Me O Khuda, after which I will start work on Ameesha Patel’s home production,” he says, adding, “I’ve already had seven shows recently, and another six are coming up, so there’s lots going on.”
