The Hunks of 3 Musketeers 3D Walks the Red Carpet

LONDON— Like the noble characters they played on screen, actors Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, and Logan Lerman received a hero’s welcome last Tuesday at the red carpet world premiere of The Three Musketeers in 3D.

The Thee Musketeers in 3D is the latest remake of Alexandre Dumas’ swashbuckling adventure novel that made famous the line “all for one, one for all” (“tous pour un, un pour tous”). This Paul W.S. Anderson’s version is said to be visually stunning as he (Anderson) “was able to recreate 17th century Paris and London in a spectacular way that has never been able to be done before”.

Director Anderson also defended his film, featuring the all time favorite Musketeers Athos, Porthos, Aramis and the hot headed D’Artagnan, saying that his version, while maintaining the integrity of the story, is different to its predecessors. He highlights the fact that the book itself is immortal as it has stood the test of time but equally important is the adaptation to modern changes. “Love, honor, courage, friendship, these are classic themes that never go out of style. But I think every generation deserves its own version of ‘The Three Musketeers.’ The story may stay the same, but the way it’s executed and brought to the screen will always differ,” said the Resident Evil Director.

Shot in Bavaria, Germany, the film also stars model turned actress Milla Jovovich as M’Lady De Winter and hunk actor Orlando Bloom as the scheming Duke of Buckingham. “The Three Musketeers in 3D” is set for its theatrical release in the United Kingdom on Oct. 12.
