Tori Spelling Shares Worst Date Ever

Just like the rest of humanity, Tori Spelling had to kiss a few frogs before meeting her prince charming. The actress has recently told the media that contrary to popular belief, she was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth, at least not in the dating aspect.

The 38-year-old former Beverly Hills 90210 star claimed that despite being the daughter of the late Aaron Spelling, she was not completely shielded from the dating world as she also had her fair share in the worst dates ever.

According to sTORI telling author, she once dated a guy who “starved her”, “liquored her up”, and “talked her ear off”. “Back in my 20s when I was on 90210, I was at a club one night and bumped into a guy that I hadn’t seen since high school,” recounted the former Donna Martin. The guy eventually asked her out and brought her to a posh new restaurant/lounge in Beverly Hills.

The dinner date however did not transpire as Spelling soon found out that her date wanted to get drunk and wasted instead. “After browsing the menu, he announced, slamming down his menu, ‘I’m not very hungry. What do you say we just get drinks?’ What? Was this really happening? Was braised lamb shank not in my future?” she recalled her thinking at that time.

“Four rum and Cokes and two hours of a one-way conversation later,” Spelling felt really ill and bolted for the bathroom. Unfortunately, she never reached the bathroom and ended throwing up in the kitchen instead. “A waiter rushed over with a massive copper saucepan where I proceeded to vomit the four rum and cokes and the Cliff Bar I had had at 11 a.m. into it”.

Her, however, nightmare did not end there as the guy tried to kiss her towards the end of the night to which Spelling politely rejected his advances. Two weeks later, the guy called again but only to ask Spelling if she could get him an audition for a new series her dad was producing.
