Chynna Phillips Gets the Boot on ‘DWTS’

Chynna Phillips was unable to follow her own song’s advice to ‘hold on for one more day” as she was booted out of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on week 4.

The 43-year-old singer was the fourth contestant to be eliminated from Season 13 because she and pro partner Tony Dovolani failed to impress the judges on Monday night with their Mission Impossible tango routine. Phillips and Dovolani got the lowest scores of all the remaining contenders.

“I drew a blank [during the dance] and it was just one of those things. It’s like taking a math test and you know all the answers and all of a sudden you go blank. We worked really, really hard for that dance and somehow it just unraveled,” Phillips explained to ‘Us Weekly’ after her elimination.

“I’m disappointed. I’m sad, but I have to take responsibility. I messed up, but I had an amazing partner.”

“Tony has been there for me 100 percent the entire way. I’m very grateful to have been on this show and had the opportunity.” Phillips said during Tuesday’s results show.
