ARNOLD Schwarzenegger : Stingy Ex-Husband-to-be.

Arnold Scwarzenegger refuses to pay Maria Shriver legal fees

Reports say, the former California governor does not have the intention to pay Maria Shriver spousal support.

Shriver, who discovered her husband’s infidelity right under her nose with their former housekeeper filed for divorce.

Schwarzenegger’s legal representations have marked two points of conflict against her divorce petition; her requests for spousal support and that Arnold pays her legal fees.

Arnold’s lawyer Bob Kaufman, has raised a motion that each party pay their own legal fees, leaving Shriver to pay for her own legal representation.

Shriver and Schwarzenegger did not sign any prenuptial agreement and naturally all assets accrued during their 25 years of marriage will be divided equally.

The couple is estimated to worth $400 million.

Both Maria and Arnold have asked for joint custodial for their two minor kids Patrick, 17, and Christopher, 13, and they also have two grown children, Katherine, 21, Christina, 19, together.

Arnold may be stingy with his money for his future ex-wife but he is willing to give a very large sum in child support while their legal battle is on its course.

“Arnold is paying a significant amount, and also paying for his sons, Patrick and Christopher’s private school bills,” a source said.

It has also been reported the 63-year-old actor is ready to agree a “very generous” settlement with Maria.

“Arnold realizes he is to blame for the collapse of his marriage. Maria was a loving wife and mother, and he doesn’t think that any amount of money can minimize what he has put her through,” a source said.

“He wants to do the right thing, and go above and beyond what is required of him under the law.

“This is going to be a very amicable divorce, and it won’t be played out in the media.”
