Rapper T.I. Free Again

Rapper T.I. is now free to ride all the luxury buses and even flashy cars whenever he wants to.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper was released on Thursday from the federal halfway house in Atlanta where he finished his sentence for weapons possession and drug charges.

The 31-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Clifford Harris, was transferred to the halfway house for the last month of his imprisonment after being released on August 31 from a federal prison in Arkansas.

He spent no more than 2 days in the halfway house though, as prison officials found his luxury bus-ride questionable, believing that T.I. was conducting business on the bus and hauled him back to federal prison.

T.I. was transferred back to the halfway house on September 15 back, where like other residents he was allowed to leave for approved purposes such as going to a job or a doctor’s appointment.

Cable channel VH1 said last month that it had teamed up with T.I. for a 10-episode series that will follow his readjustment to life outside prison and the making of a new album.
