Kim Kardashian Responds to Jon Hamm’s Slam

Over the last few years Kim Kardashian and her family have been called unsavory names, mostly pertaining to their lack of acting skills, their being ‘famous for nothing’ and yes, spreading “stupidity” via their reality show, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’.

And, Jon Hamm is not the only ‘legitimate’ actor to have sounded off on the senselessness of the Kardashians’ fame considering that they are actually just ‘being themselves’ and behaving as they do on a daily basis – but with a camera ever ready to capture every ‘dreadful’ moment.

Daniel Craig also called out the attention-seeking family in an interview with British GQ, saying, “Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were badly off to begin with, but now look at them. You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f–king idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?'”

Jonah Hill was subtler when he told the Huffington Post, “The truth of it is, I have friends who work in TV and the Kardashians get higher ratings than their TV shows — shows that people actually work hard on — writing and creating and trying to tell stories.”

So, what does Kim Kardashian have to say about all this? She responded to Jon Hamm via a tweet.

“I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview. I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”

Careless, maybe. But, true? Definitely!
