Jon Hamm: Kim Kardashian Slam Was Accurate

You just have to hand it to Jon Hamm. He said his statement about Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian being stupidity personified was ‘taken out of context’, but at the same time he stands by his statement as being ‘accurate’.

So inevitably, the ‘Mad Men’ actor had to explain himself on Monday’s ‘Today’ show, when host Matt Lauer could not resist asking him about his ‘Elle UK’ interview where he slammed both Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton.

Hamm explained when Lauer asked him about Kardashian’s rebuttal on Twitter and said, “I don’t think they were careless; I think they were accurate.”

“It’s a part of our culture that I certainly don’t identify with, and I don’t really understand the appeal of it other than in a sort of car crash sensibility, and it’s not something that I partake in or enjoy, but it is what it is, and here we are,” Hamm continued.
So, what do you think, was Hamm careless or inaccurate?

To help you decide, here is exactly what he said, “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f-cking idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.”
