Megan Fox: ‘Unattractive Girl’ Comment Misquoted

Lost in translation, Megan?

Hollywood beauty Megan Fox is on the defensive after receiving quite a lot of flak because of her quip in a magazine interview about not wanting to trade places with an unattractive girl.

Fox, who was the cover of the April issue of the French Magazine, ‘Jalouse’, allegedly said that she “live[s] well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl.”

The visibly annoyed Fox took to her Facebook page to clarify her comments. “Sigh. The actual comment, the context and its intention are grossly distorted and misrepresented here. I gave this interview in English obviously. It was then translated to French and now back into English.”

Although she failed to mention what it was exactly that she said in English, Fox writes on her profile page that poor translation is really to blame.

Instead, the actress insists the quotes are completely out of character for her, and says she is not the type to make “vapid self serving comments” as printed by the magazine.

In fact, Fox asserts, “[I am] in contradiction…uncontrollably self deprecating.”
