Archbishop Cruz: Marriage is not Meant for Kris Aquino

oscar cruzJames Yap has already given his official statement that he will still pursue for his marriage and family be intact despite wife Kris Aquino saying that she has already given up.

Archbishop Cruz however has given a different perspective as to why the fate of James Yap and Kris Aquino’s marriage has come to this point.  But also said that his words should not be misunderstood as he is not intending to taint Kris Aquino’s personhood.

“She is more for herself than for someone else like a spouse. Meaning to say, she is not someone who kicks herself as a partner to somebody else so that the two of them become one. Marriage is partnership. I give my part, you give your part, and the whole.

I’m not pronouncing judgment on whether if she is good or bad or whether she is a sinner or a saint, no. I’m not doing that, I’m just talking about her…I repeat based on my experience in the marriage tribunal.  I would not advise her to get married in Church, if she wants to married again sa civil na lang para mas mabilis ang annulment.
She has always been a public figure and therefore she feels that the public should know what it is all about. I don’t think the girl is somebody who keeps it to herself and let’s not talk about it or keep quiet. She is someone who cannot just keep quiet, that is spontaneous.
And I do not think the public, knowing her life is shock by this. That she had one man, then second man, she has a child and she has a third fellow, she has a child and then separate. I don’t think it is shocking anymore, and that is Kris, you take it or leave it that is her.”

What is your thought about Archbishop Cruz’s statement about the situation of Kris Aquino and James Yap?

With no offense to Arch. Cruz, i wonder why a so called servant of God will put his own judgment on kris aquino. For you Archbishop Cruz, these are the only words that I can tell you. Not my words but the word of God.
Matthew 7:1-5, our Lord Jesus said: 1″Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3″Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

1 Corinthians 6:10 (New International Version)
10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor SLANDERERS nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

As a servant of God our actions and words must always be based on what the word of God says. It is easy to speculate, to give air an opinion, to hurl insult on kris, to mind the business of the couple but WE SHOULD NOT, in any way should meddle in their private lives. People must be aware that slandering or saying words about a person without her/him knowing originated from the action of Satan in Genesis when he poisoned the mind of Eve and make a bad representation of our God that lead the woman into sinning. Lets be more cautious of what we comment or say about anyone. Only James and Kris know what is between them, what really happened, what took place and what is their real problem. Some might think that giving opinion is an ordinary sin. NO! The bible is very clear in this matter may I repeat what the bible says regarding this matter: 1 Corinthians 6:10 (New International Version)
10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor SLANDERERS nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. The best thing that we can do is just to PRAY for them. That’s all.
