2011 Winners: 83rd Oscar Awards

 

“King’s Speech” swiped the major awards at the highly-anticipated 83rd Oscar Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Colin Firth), Best Director (Tom Hooper) and Best Original Screenplay.

Nathalie Portman, who played as a ballerina in the hit movie “Black Swan”, won the Best Actress in a leading role. On the other hand, “The Social Network”, which was an A-lister at the Golden Globe Awards, won only two Oscars for Best Original Score and Best Adapted Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin).

“The Fighter” stars Melissa Leo and Christian Bale got the Best Supporting awards.
